Perspective for Overall Peace, Contentment & Happiness

3 Here are some simple daily reminders to assist with your journey towards genuine happiness…

  1.  Remember to keep life in perspective. Who are you comparing yourself to? We all have a choice on which lens we choose to view the world through.
  1. Stop taking things personally.  It is usually not about you and when you expect people to always be like you, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
  1. Implement time only for yourself. Figure out what fills your bucket and schedule around those activities instead always hoping there is time left in the day.
  1. Remember negativity is contagious—and so is positivity so be intentional with who you surround yourself with.
  1. Learning the art of delegation and saying no once in while is priceless.
  1. Relish in your accomplishments before you move on to your next task. Focus on what you have completed instead of obsessing over what you have not.
  1. If you do not look forward to or love your job, get a different one.  At minimum, figure out a necessary change to implement because our jobs consume too much of our time and energy for it to take away from your joy in life.
  1. Honor you mind, body, and spirit. Once we start treating ourselves like the temple that we are, we will feel, look, and BE better.
  1. Helping others feeds our souls so even if it is for selfish reasons, pay it forward. You will be amazed at how wonderful it makes you feel.
  2. Live in the present. Do not wait for the next phase or goal in your life to define your happiness or contentment. Happiness is not attained, it is a choice that YOU have the power to choose—today.
